Palette and process are intrinsic to both practices: whether it's adding a flourish of crimson to the canvas or a drizzle of oil to the pan, both lend themselves to fearless experimentation, adaptation and, ultimately, the creation of something beautiful. As a visual artist with an adventurous palate, I embrace the kitchen as another vein to unleash my creative instincts. This is a stream of my culinary conquests and discoveries, inspiration and creation.
Beautiful work! Ling's friend Dan Teran passed your blog along. Would be great to collaborate in some way with our organization, Slideluck Potshow. http://slideluckpotshow.comReplyDelete

Hello from Sweden,ReplyDelete
My name is Andrew and I am currently working with my partner Elin on a project called "The Mississippi Food Project."
We intend to travel the extent of the Mississippi River from its headwaters at Lake Itasca in Minnesota to the delta in New Orleans in Louisiana. Our goal is to document the culinary essence of a place, diagnose what makes foods true to a location and why.
It´s a very exciting project and I would appreciate it if you could take a few minutes to have a look at it. We need as much support as we can get and a mention on your blog would mean the world to us!
Thank you for your time, much appreciated /Andrew Schaust
